Energy Healing For People and Pets

There are many different methods and modalities of energy healing but all forms can help provide healing to the body, mind and spirit. Energy flows through the practitioner/healer to the recipient. The energy is either undirected such as in Reiki and Reconnective Healing or directed as in Trance Healing. Reiki is often given with gentle soft quiet music in the background to promote a state of relaxation. Reconnective Healing and Trance Healing sessions are without music to promote a state of awareness in Reconnective Healing and to be more conducive for the blending to take place between the medium and the spirit world healers during Trance Healing.

In person sessions of Reiki, Reconnective Healing and Trance Healing involve the recipient being fully dressed but with shoes off, usually lying face up on a massage table. All energy healing may be given with the recipient sitting, standing or even at a distance and over the internet. In a Reiki session the practitioner places their hands lightly on or above the recipient’s body, often starting at the head or feet and rotating around the body, private areas of the body are never touched. Reconnective Healing is a touchless form of healing. Trance Healing can involve the medium placing their hands lightly on the recipient’s shoulders or back.
